* We use recyclable envelopes for shipping
* We use no single-use plastics

What is your Angel Policy?

A. All images on Lili of the Valley or LotvDigiShop, can be used for all kinds of cardmaking and crafting for personal use, for raising funds for charities and schools, or selling for personal profit on a small scale locally at craft fairs and at work.  The ONLY product you can make and sell ONLINE is HANDMADE individual CARDS. You can use the Digi Stamps or the Simply Print coloured toppers for this purpose too. You do not need a license for this, as long as you make each card by hand using you own card-making skills (as opposed to just printing out an image and selling it).

DIGITAL PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Q1. What is a Digi Stamp?

A. A Digi Stamp is a black line drawing which you can print out on an inkjet printer and colour in, just like you would a stamp you have inked up. You save them on your computer like a photo or a file and then you can print them at anytime. You don’t buy a stamp each time – once downloaded, you store it on your computer and use it whenever you like, making it great value for money! To make sure they are high quality, when you receive each digi stamp from us, it will be larger than you need, up to A4 in size, so you will need to reduce it in size for your cardmaking. See further down for how to re-size them.

Q2. How do I access my digital files on Etsy?

A. Once you have purchased your chosen images, they will be available to download in your account on Etsy. Your account is accessed in the top right hand corner of the Etsy site by clicking on your personal account icon. Navigate to ‘Purchases and Reviews’ and the files should be there. You should also receive an email with a link to your downloads to your email address linked to your Etsy account. If for any reason, you can’t find them, make sure you don’t have two Etsy accounts and that you’re looking at the right one. Your files will be available to download once your payment has been confirmed by Etsy. If there is a slight delay, it sometimes takes a few hours, but usually it is instant.
If you are having any problems, the following link will take you to an Etsy article which describes how to download your purchases – https://www.etsy.com/help/article/3949

Q3. I have downloaded them onto my computer but where have they gone?

A. They will have gone into your downloads folder if you didn’t choose where to put them. Navigate to the Downloads Folder, usually next to My Documents, and right click with your mouse and cut or copy the files and paste them (right hand click again) into your own choice of folder – say ‘LOTV images’. Then you will always know where to find them when you need them.

Q4. How do I use my Digi Stamps?

A. When you download and open the Digi stamps on your computer, you will see they come in as a large picture – the size of A4. This is to make sure that whatever size you want your image (up to A4 at least) , it is always very clear and very good quality. To make your image smaller for a specific card or project, you then need to reduce it in size like you would a photograph.

Q5. How do I make the Digi stamps the right size?

A. You can use several programs to re-size your image. If you don’t have a graphics program or a word processing program like Microsoft Word, Janine Quinn, a LOTV Design Team Member has created a brilliant set of tutorials for you, where you can download free software called WPS and quickly learn how to re-size the images, flip them (change the direction they’re facing) and even learn how to merge two stamps together to make a scene.

Please click on the following printed tutorials to learn how to download the software and use it in the above ways. You can print these off and follow them step by step.

Q6. How can I overlay your digi stamp images onto a backing paper – so it’s like making a mask with a real stamp – and so you don’t need to fussy cut the white background off?

A. Click on the following PDF page, which shows you how! LOTV IMAGE OVER PAPER MASK

Q7. What if I can’t use a computer at all?!

A. It would be good if you could master the basics as it’s so much more handy and it’s easy when you know how – but if you don’t have this option and you still want the digi stamps; Double click on the image, choose print and choose 4 to a page on your print option and you’ll get 4 stamps about the right size on the page.

Q8. What if you only have a tablet or phone and you have them on a USB stick? Either purchased from us or saved yourself.

A. If you want to use our Simply Print and Digi Stamp Sticks, you can buy an adapter USB cable for your iPad or Android Tablet, and simply plug it in. The iPad adapter is called a USB-C WHAT IS A USB-C CABLE and the Android one is called USB OTG (On The Go). You can then save the PDF Files onto your phone or tablet, and print them from there. We are currently working on some tutorials on using digi stamps on software on your tablets, but we would currently recommend you do use a computer for these if you have one as we have not tried it yet!

Q.9 Can I re-size my digi stamp images on my iPhone or iPad?

A. Yes you can! Follow this Brand New Tutorial called  HOW TO RESIZE AND EDIT A DIGI STAMP IN THE PAGES APP which uses the free Apple App called Pages to re-size and flip your images and add extra effects like shadows too!

Q.10 If I want to use my iPhone or Tablet and have purchased digital products from your Etsy store, how do I download them and save them on my phone?

A. Click here to follow the instructions – HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUR DIGI STAMP PURCHASE ONTO YOUR IPHONE OR IPAD

Do you have a list of all your products you sell on Etsy so I can tick off what I own?

A. We have created a list of all our products on LotvDigiShop which you can download. An updated version is coming soon! Please email us if you want it in the meantime!

Do you still sell discontinued LOTV products?

A. Any remaining physical products are on LotvOutletStore on Etsy. We also sell the clear stamp storage pouches too.
