Lili of the Valley Goes Green!

After many requests, as you know we are starting to do real stamps again – polymer stamps – and our Christmas Launch features 24 new designs as A7 stamps.

Laila and I want to ensure if we bring out physical products again, that they are as environmentally friendly as possible. LOTV has been very green for the last 4 years due to being a digital company with virtually no waste at all, so we decided if we want to do more in the ‘real’ world for our customers, we want to have the earth’s resources in mind with each decision we make and we want to be as eco as possible.

So to start with, we are removing any single use or unnecessary plastic from our products. With our stamps, the plastic bag and insert will be gone and they will each come in a small paper envelope with the image on the front. (Obviously each stamp will still be on acetate – as they have a sticky back.)

We have talked to our polymer stamp supplier and they have a very good environmental policy which we can provide if you would like to see it. The stamps are made in the UK, which is very important to us and means no overseas freight or flights, and we can still manage to produce these at an affordable price, so it’s all good.

We look forward to a new and green crafting future! As well as the new stamps, we have some more exciting news coming next week, so watch this space!

Lisa & Laila xx
